Microchipping

We are able to inject a small microchip under the skin of your pet (dog,cat,tortoise etc.) which will provide permanent identification.

This will improve the chances of being re-united with your pet if it is lost or stolen.

Please arrange an appointment with a nurse if you would like this done.

Pet Travel Scheme/Export

Several of our veterinary surgeons are

Official Veterinarians for DEFRA.

Therefore we are able to deal with all requirements for pet export, and for the Pet Travel Scheme.

This has replaced the requirement for dogs and cats to undergo quarantine when entering the U.K. from certain countries.

The rules are complicated and

we suggest you contact us for details at least seven months before you wish to bring your pet back into this country.

Please note that it is still necessary to comply with any regulations imposed by the country you wish to visit,

a holiday visit still counts as export.
