Grooming

We have a purpose-built grooming parlour on site with two qualified dog groomers.  

They are able to cut any style you wish providing your dog is presented with a knot free coat.   For those dogs that object to being groomed at home and have a knotty coat this can be removed easily, but may unfortunately leave a shorter style than was requested.   A lot of long, thick coated dogs are trimmed off short for the summer as dogs can be very susceptible to heat stroke. 

 The shorter style helps to keep the dogs cooler and attracts less debris which is a common cause of knotted hair.  

The groomers advise puppies to have a ‘taster’ day at about four months of age to get used to having a haircut.

 

Pet Health

We are able to offer a variety of general health clinics for your pets, conducted by trained nursing staff.

We are able to arrange the following: Senior pet clinics for cats and dogs heading towards their twilight years and with advice on dietary needs, the offer of blood tests to check the vital organs, and discussion on age related problems to aid optimum health.

Dental check-ups to advise on oral care. Obesity clinics to advise on weight control.

Rabbit clinics to advise on buying, housing and nutritional requirements as these small furries are fast becoming an alternative to a dog or cat.
