The practice policy is to charge where costs are incurred. All our fees are calculated on the basis that they will be paid at the time of treatment or at the end of a course of treatment.
Estimates of cost of any treatment are available on request.
We are happy to accept payment by cheque with a bankers card, visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, and Electron or cash.
Discounts may be given for additional animals treated or vaccinated at the same time or from the same household.
If you anticipate any problem with payment of fees please
discuss this with a member of reception staff or a vet before the consultation.
Consultations by appointment
All surgeries are on an appointment system. This is to ensure that waiting times are kept to a minimum and to enable you to see the veterinary surgeon of your choice whenever possible. It also helps to maintain continuity if your pet has an ongoing or recurrent condition.
Please be aware that some pets require a longer consultation than others, and that emergencies have to be fitted in, so that you may not always be seen exactly on time.
We hope that you will be understanding if this happens, as one day it may be your pet that needs the extra time. Please speak to a receptionist if waiting becomes difficult for you.

Pet Insurance
We believe that pet insurance makes very good sense indeed.
For a small monthly cost you can insure pets against the cost of a prolonged course of treatment for any unexpected illness
or accident.
It can be very traumatic when a pet's health or sometimes life is compromised by financial considerations. It is preferable to take insurance out at an early stage in your pet's life. However, pet insurance can be arranged
at up to 7-8 years of age with certain companies.
